Description This is my steampunk gas mask. It's constructed from an old 80's gas mask, that modded and painted. The Canister is made from the water tank of an old triumph TR7, made of solid brass with black paint. The tank feed is made from the top of a fire extinguisher that was tack welded to the canister. It has a small pressure guage on it.
The Nozzle feed was made from the tube from the same fire extinguisher with a brass valves attaching the tube to the mask.

Nice modification. I do own a S6, we call that SR 10 here. The Turkish army adopted it in 1991 (MKEK). The S6 was used in 1950s i think. yup, looked it up used untill 1986 when the S10's got in the service.

I love the conversion of the SR6, looks far more metallic, especially on the exhale valve.

Maybe you know what type of gas mask it is? This model is what I'm looking for to mod

I'm not sure what the model is i'm afraid, it was picked up at a military event with surplus stores there in force. It's an Avon model as far as i'm aware, and i think it comes from the 80's. Hope that helps
