Description "A mythical horse, in a mythical environment. Elensar brings upon the common people the consequences of their actions with great pain. A creature of judgment, which shall strike fearlessly when death arrives. The horse of judgement will either impale you to carry you to an eternal land of cold and bitterness, or it shall grow wings and take you to the heavens."

It was time for something new so I came up with the concept and story. The Horse of Judgement Elensar was quite the pain... this was my first ever horse painting and drawing. I'm DONE studying horses..
Total time was about 12 hours. The background and overall effects took longer to paint than the horse.

Great horse for your first attempt!
excellent choice to pick lots of feather on the legs,
it looks great and saves you having to draw those pesky hooves with all their strange angles...
Beautiful colors, too.
