Ooh, this is gorgeous! I've never been to the Redwoods, but I really would like too. I love the angle you took this at. It's not exactly straight up, or just the straight tree, it's in the middle. It's quite refreshing to see.

Thanks! A couple seconds after i left this spot, another photographer saw me, then looked up, and shot the same angle in the same spot

I am quite taken with the orangey (alder?) leaves in the upper right - they reflect the color of the redwoods so perfectly that it makes a great balance. Fantastic.
