Experienced Assistant Adventurer for Hire

Mister O'Quinn is a senior librarian employed at the New York Public Library. He began his career there at the age of fifteen as an assistant who's primary purpose was in sweeping up and restocking the various books and volumes each day. Identified early as a bright and meticulous lad, he was soon involved in the cataloging and preservation of the Libraries Rare Books collection.

After securing the return of the Library's prized first-edition Gutenberg Bible, the Library began to assign Mister O'Quinn more strenuous duties involving either the recovery or acquisition of rare, stolen and sometimes forbidden documents. As a result, Mister O'Quinn becoming an expert marksman, pistoleer, yeoman, swordsman, knife-fighter and hand-to-hand specialist although he generally prefers the shotgun. Mister O'Quinn has also developed a considerable amount of experience in explosives, advanced field survival, land and sea navigation, mountaineering, steam-driven mechanics as well as competitive knitting. 

No one know why he took up knitting, and generally no one questions him regarding this hobby. 

As part of his duties for the Library, Mister O'Quinn has earned his position in the New York Adventurers Club, in which the New York Public Library has routinely paid his annual dues. As part of his standard expedition contract, Mister O'Quinn reserves the right to make copies of any notable documents, texts or tomes discovered or recovered in the course of the expeditions for the New York Public Library's collection.
