Final fantasy vs Dragalia lost

Connections

Both are the princes of a powerful and noble kingdom (Alberia and Lucis) and have a fond relationship with someone they've known since they were young (Zethia and Lunafreya). Both set out on what was supposed to be a simple mission (forming a pact with Midgardsomr and going on a trip to Altissia to get Noctis married), but everything spirals out of control when the empire strikes their livelihoods, takes their homes and everything goes to shit (Morsayati possesses Aurelius and reforms the Dyrenell Empire, and the Empire attacks Lucis and kills the king), and it also causes them to lose the one they knew from childhood (Euden gets separated from Zethia as she gets kidnapped and Lunafreya disappears off the face of the planet). Due to the ongoing chaos that never seems to end, both end up losing their fathers (Aurelius and Regis), who died for them. Both eventually go on a journey to collect a certain number of legendary stuff (the Greatwyrms and the Royal Arms) which just so happen to be connected to times long past (the Greatwyrms assisted King Alberius centuries ago and the Royal Arms were possessed by past kings and queens), all while traveling with a fun batch of colorful characters and fighting the empire that threatens the lives of not just them, but the world at large. Both also fight powerful monsters of legend (the Greatwyrms and the Astrals) which become their allies after beating them (Euden forms pacts with the Greatwyrms and Noctis can summon the Astrals). Both eventually grow and mature over the course of their journeys (figuratively in Euden's case and literally in Noctis's), and both become noble and righteous kings (Euden becomes the king of New Alberia and Noctis takes over as the new king of Lucis).

While not my preferred for Noct its still a nice idea and not to mention it has some good debate potential too and that’s always nice
