Aventus was awake as soon as he heard the door open. His hand slid under his pillow to the dagger he kept hidden there. He could just barely detect the soft footfalls of whoever was in the house. After a moment a soft voice spoke.
"Aventus, I know you're awake." The voice was that of his father Ethaniel. Aventus was out of bed in a flash.
"You came back!" Aventus cried clinging to Ethaniel tightly.
"Yes, I came back." Ethaniel said. He rocked Aventus gently.
"I came back for good, my son..." The soft words were the last words Aventus heard before he fell asleep.
So who did Ethaniel adopt first? Lucia or Aventus?

Ethaniel went back to Windhelm to escort Aventus to the orphanage, after killing that horrible woman, because he didn't have the means to care for a child at that moment. But he promised Aventus that he would come back for him when it was possible. Once he had a home, enough gold to provide for him, and Aela living with him, he was able to go back to the orphanage and adopt him

He's pretty tough and smart too- think about it, he traveled all the way up from Riften back to Windhelm, and knew how to perform the Black Sacrament! Makes me wonder what his parents were like- maybe one of them was an assassin and had that book lying around somewhere?

There is a mod for PC version- I adopted him with it and promptly began his Brotherhood training, lol!

Aw, I have it on PS3, well hopefully I can get this mod on the remastered version for my Xbox One. That's cool though! Good work on the picture, it was really well done.
