Description With the Maidens now taken away to a seperate area, Darang and his subordinates had left, as well as the Solletico Mafia, who both made a rather hasty getaway.  Celeste, Percy, Teeva and Bombers also walked away from the scene, and begrudgingly apologised to the Chimp as he had his right side tended to medically.  The Chimp looked at them, and did not seem too happy at all, despite Poisonous banished into some unknown dimension.  Cheshire Cat then approached the Chimp.  "Take out your hand, man" said Cheshire, and the Chimp obliged.  There, Cheshire placed a glowing ball the size of a large marble into the Chimp's hand, and told him "This is where Poisonous is kept.  He will no longer cause any trouble whatsoever as he cannot escape from here.  However, you and only you can control when you can come into this dimension to see him.  You can bring others in here too, but only if they are accompanied by you.  Let me tell you know to get in..."  Then Cheshire then quietly spoke into the Chimp's ear with specific instructions, with the Chimp nodding with acknowledgement all the way.  Once Cheshire finished, he said goodbye to the Chimp, patted him on the shoulder, and walked off.  Almost immediately, Bey called out to the Chimp "The Maidens are coming around!  They're OK!"  The Chimp then gingerly got up to see them.

With the Chimp's friends surrounding the now-moving Maidens, completely free from their brainwashing, the Chimp knelt down to greet Kaysie, his girlfriend of two years during his late teens, who was starting to show signs of life.  "Hey Kaysie.  You OK?  It's just me, the Chimp" he said, seeing her starting to open her eyes slowly.  "Chimp!  It's so great to see you after all this time!" murmured Kaysie in a breathy, relieved tone upon seeing her ex.  "I'm so glad you and your friends came to save us all from that monster."  "Your ordeal is over now.  That monster will no longer harm you now" the Chimp quietly assured to Kaysie.  "He took us all from our lives" whimpered Kaysie.  "For 2 years, we were in that Mind Hive, screaming for help as he controlled our bodies.  We felt every single element of pain, including our bare feet we had to walk on and attack all those poor victims, but could do nothing to control all of that.  We did all of that.  We felt all of that.  We..."  Kaysie then began sobbing uncontrollably, and the Chimp cradled her gently in his arms.  He then looked out at all his other friends freed from their Maiden shackles.  All of them were comforted by the Chimp's friends as they exhibited shock and distress through wailing, screaming, shaking and blank stares.  The Chimp started to well up and choke, and then buried his face into his hand, feeling immense remorse, guilt and sadness.

And suddenly he has his own mask back , how convinient Ah well still amazing , the story and plots , just wonderfull. I do wonder now what will happen , there is lot of damage to heal and i am not realy shure how all this emotional damage will be healed at all. Id say only like brain sweep things like the neurolizer from MIB would be able to clean that up. At least everyone is now safe. Or are they ??

Wonderfull and great work done.

He probably had it in his pocket the whole time and put it back on for comfort's sake.

Heh... How very like Celeste and Percy to reluctantly apologise. It's as if they said it because they felt they had to. As I wrote, they do have compassion, but it's... barely there. Like they would do anything for their Blair and Robin respectively, and Percy would for his cats. Most other people they tolerate, barring enemies and those who wronged them. Anyway, I'm getting somewhat off-topic here. I commend you for getting them in character and I thank you for including them. I'm grateful for that!

It's so nice to see things becoming peaceful, but I can only wonder how long that will last and if Chimp will ever want to see Poisonous again? Those poor girls, though... I wonder how they will recover from the poisonous (no pun intended) trail that Poisonous has left behind.

I'm rather enjoying this story and where it's going. Keep up the great work!

The characterisation was clear enough, so that's why the glove fits in relation to why they were in the story in the first place.  They're not really heroes, are they?  We'll wait and see after the story ends to see what the Chimp will do next.

Celeste and Percy are nominal heroes, type V anti-heroes, or heroes in name only. In the canonical S.S.S. storyline, they only fight the villains because they are either getting paid to or because it's personal, not for the greater good.

Can't wait to see the rest.

It's a friendly reminder to everyone that they are still human beings who never wanted to be any part of this, but were against their own will.
