Description This is the helmet of my main LARP-character Grom.

It is my first helmet and the most complex leatherwork i've made by now.

The forehead is a bit to flat and the back is, um, well, i think "curvy" fits best.

But nevertheless it fits amazingly good to my head and can be worn without a skull-cap, as metal-helmets have to.


I took the patterns from this [link] site. They have really interesting armor-patterns there. Mostly for metal-armor.

Great work! Very pleasing to the eye

To avoid the flat and curvy parts, you can soak the inner pieces in warm water (80 degrees C or below) - that will allow you to mold them into a better fit
