Description
This is a Deathwatch Marine inducted from the Ultramarines.I'm planning to build up a Deathwatch Killteam for use either with the inofficial rules or as Sternguard.
Each member will be from another chapter. Mainly of those with own shoulderpads, thus are Black Templars, Space Wolves, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Blood Drinkers (who have a chalice as symbol) and Mortifactors (with a modified CSM shoulderpad).
Also I will make an Angry Marine, an Emperor's pointy stick (from TSOLAR) and a Black Pauldron (my own chapter).
The Ultramarine shoulderpad is from the Commander box, the Deathwatch shoulderpad is also contained in der Commander box as well in other boxes.
Hint:
To mount the backpack straight you should cut a small piece from the sprue, aprox. 0.5-0.8 mm thick and glue it on the upper contact surface of the back torso.
Otherwise the DW-shoulder will block the backpack and it will become aslant.

mine will be a CCW marine but im using a lot of the same bits from the same set....

I have no experience with war hammer or these little figurines, but I will say this: these are quite lovely. They're well crafted and painted nicely C:.

Olee olee, super Deathwatch.
Sieht man definitiv zu wenig von zur Zeit. Ich finde sie auf jeden Fall Klasse. Haben meiner Imperialen Armee mehr als ein mal den Arsch gerettet.
Bin gespannt die ganze Truppe zu sehen.

Das es nur so wenig davon gibt liegt wahrscheinlich daran, das es keine offiziellen Regeln und nur nen Umbausatz gibt.
Wird Zeit das der Codex Inquisition erscheint

Ich befürchte ja das GW die Sternguard als den offiziellen Nachfolger betrachtet und eventuelle neue Codies keine Deathwatch enthalten wird. Aber vielleicht haben wir ja Glück. Zur Not gibt es ja noch die alten White Dwarf Regeln.

Hm, interessanter Gedankengang.
Aber Veteranen gab es ja auch schon in älteren Editionen.
Und die DW ist ein Teil der Inquisition. Ich denke ein Codex Inquisition muss die DW enthalten, um ein Codex Inquisition zu sein. So der denn irgendwann kommt.

Also wenn das stimmt was man so in den verschiedenen Foren ließt wird es wohl in erster Linie ein Grey Knight Codex mit eher schmalem Inquisitionsanteil.

Naja, bei dem was man in Foren ließt bin ich vorsichtig, meistens beruht das auf wilden Vermutungen.
Allerdings sind der Ordo Malleus und der Ordo Haereticus eigentlich viel zu verschieden um sich einen Codex zu teilen.
Aber es gibt schon so viele Codizes zu Imperialen Institutionen, da kann ein Codex Deathwatch sicher nicht schaden. Und zu wünschen wäre es allemal

There are several other chapter's shoulderpads available, e.g. Imperial/Crimson Fist, Ravenguard and Red Scorpions. You can get conversion sets and also buy single ones on ebay...

I know there are more shoulderpads available, but they are either from pewter or resin, both materials i don't want to use
