New self portraits. I felt like taking a few. I really
like how they turned out. There's a few things I
would love to change but I'm happy with my job
nonetheless. I've been busy & stressed lately
so yay for self portraits that are at least
portraits and not more macro droplets
I was having a conversation with my mother
about how a cluttered background can really screw
up a nice portrait and it's a real shame but I still
like these self portraits I took yesterday after work.
Maybe because this view isn't as cluttered as other
backgrounds which are my bedroom walls. I often
up something up but when the light is just right
I often don't worry or even think about it. I just go.

in the center, just the skull & the logo.

Hahaha, I must of had 2 past but short lives
between that chunk of time

I haven't seen enough films from the
20's to 50's but I love the movies
from the late 50's to the late 70's.

Sometimes a cluttered background can pull the portrait to focus on the sitter, much as the Mona Lisa's or many of the Dutch Masters did. And this works here brilliantly as the sharp focus of the light on you superbly highlights you while sublimating the 'clutter' to the background

aren't included and I to think it's because there's
not much of a background, so not so cluttered or
distracting to the viewer. Which is nice
