Description
It's a desperate race against time!Colette has learned of a plan for a diabolical crime that will shake the foundations of the city. But the one perpetrating this fantastic act has captured her and left her imprisoned in a dark, lonely attic. It's up to the Thea Sisters to use all of their skills to prevent this amazing event from taking place, provided they can first find poor Colette and learn that time to stop this plot is even running out!

I've been meaning to try drawing the Thea Sisters. And since Colette is my favorite, she was the first one I tried. As I was drawing, I got the notion to fake a cover of a Thea Sisters novel with a story that I'd love to see. The plot is swiped from another favorite of mine, a sequence from the comic strip "The Heart Of Juliet Jones" that ran back in 1964 I think. I just substituted Colette for Eve Jones.

I loved that strip, Juliet Jones was something mom and me awaited eagerly every sunday. I especially remember the episode when she is sent to jail and Mr. Cantrell begins to crush mouth after mouth until he gets the truth!

I'll be honest. Seeing her tied up like this... it always makes my day just perfect.
That's one of the many reasons why I love these girls. Ever since I first started reading, I knew their just HAD to be some DiD! And then cam "Ghost of the Shipwreck"... and I felt that "so close yet so far feeling". Like, "Damn it! You mean Violet's tied up and gagged in a wetsuit and I can't even see it? God damn it!"
