Thanks! The pulley is held up by a bent brass rod from a lamp bracket, with wire rings to keep the pulley from sliding down the sides. The gear on the crank almost kinda sorta engages the rope spool, so you can crank it a few turns before bits start falling off- so really, it's all mostly for show
