Use it if that's what you desire,
Or watch it melt, becoming the past,
Or rather, let's add to the fire.

Your eyes find microscopic things,
Your ears listen to whispers around.
Your hands rest idly and without life,
And now the time cannot be found.

It was here just moments ago!
How could it have disappeared so soon?
Now too much time has been lost, and look!
The sun has turned into the moon.

The moon is bright, so beautiful,
A light, placed there, to catch us like bugs.
Our small minds drawn to the vast sphere
Until something gives them a tug.

Time is leaving, melting away.
We let it, that's what we desired.
We watched it melt, becoming the past.
Distraction added to the fire.
