Description Another experiment with an unbiased renderer. This time, i used LuxRender, which is a lot like Indigo except it's open source and developed by a team of people rather than one guy. And it's a lot more user-friendly.

The materials are different in this render, so comparing this to the last one won't give you an accurate comparison of Indigo and Lux. I would have let this render longer and therefore reduce the graininess, but Lux crashed (probably had something to do with the network rendering system).

totally unlike indigo's quality and rendertime though... even a renderer written in a few days could produce a better result in just minutes.

About a week, using a laptop and two desktops, all single-core. Not exactly the optimal setup.
