Description
I took this today at the Healing Field, a 9/11 memorial that they set up every year in Sandy, Utah. They place a flag for every person that died in the attacks on 9/11 and this year they added a card to each flag with a name, age and where they died, along with some info about the person.

Also, they added this statue, titled "Hope Rising, To Lift a Nation".

It was a very gloomy, stormy day with lots of wind, and I thought the gray just added to the sober moment.

May we never forget the lives lost that day, and never forget to give our thanks to the many service men and women that help keep up safe.
