I can hardly believe I finally finished it! My part for our joint pic with D I am gonna send you the psd sometime today-tomorrow, just need to edit it a bit.
Curse the summer laziness, or otherwise I would have done it at least a week ago… Urgh, I am horrible with setting myself dates XD! I have fixed her face a bit so now it doesn’t look that weirdly narrow. Though, I do feel there are some flows with her overall anatomy. Used a bit of reference for this one since I haven’t drawn full horse bodies seriously for a couple of years for sure… I think I got carried away a bit (and maybe not just a bit lol) with the detailing

Anyway, I bring you Savage at long last! and including some information about her at the same time…

Earth name: Savage (pronounced in the Mediterranean language as [sava’zh] Given to her by her first charge. Her real name is impossible to pronounce from the Kelpie language.
Place of Origin: the North West Highlands of Scotland
Species: Kelpie
History: Savage is a slender graceful water faerie usually disguising herself as a horse with a black coat and mane & tale as dark as a moonless night with eyes the colour of the sky, quite unique for her own kind. She was known perhaps as the most frightening and bloodthirsty kelpie ever in existence (at least to her own kind) claiming hundreds of human victims…In the peak of her youth she realized that she could not carry on for eternity like this since kelpies, even if they had a greater life span than humans, were mortal, too. Wanting to escape the inevitable and preserve her youth, she traveled to the far parallel world, Mediterranean, to become a spiritesse, or commonly known as a faerie guardian with a sole purpose of sharing her natural magic powers with her charge and training him/her in that field. And in the end she did reach her goal and became the first kelpie spiritesse and gained immortality. However, as a must of her faerie guardianship she was made to give up her former bloody ways…at least when it came to all sentient beings, humans included. That does not mean, however, that she cannot kill someone threatening her charge. By the irony of fate, her first charge was a human-based faerie. So far, she has been a spiritesse only to two individuals.
Character traits: Quiet, watchful, wise, smart, sadistic at times, hard to irritate and hard to calm down once angered, ‘colder than ice’ in presence of individuals she does not know, her true self is known only to her charges with whom she is intimate most, likes to deceive at times just for the fun of it, hates change, is friendly to fellow equidae; like no other knows the ancient kelpie traditions and does her best to preserve them.
Forms: Savage can assume any form she desires since she is a magical shape-shifter. Her most favored forms are the ones of her as a Fierness (an extinct equidae faerie, mostly horse in appearance but with a demonic head), as a spiritess, and as her original self.
Whenever she chooses to turn into her original form, she becomes almost indistinguishable from a real horse. She can be perhaps recognized only by her unnaturally long neck and hair. Kelpies can also be recognized by seaweed in their hair or other things belonging to the water, but Savage has learnt how to evade that in time.
When she is a spiritesse, her hair and hooves turn silvery white and the eyes change from blue to white. You cannot see her silvery pupils unless you are looking directly in her eyes, but there’s a catch: she can hypnotize at that moment.
Savage chooses not to stick strictly to one form: she either switches a lot between them or combines some traits together.

Whoa, that was smth…. The longest intro ever XD! That is Savage…though, at times she is more like the darker side of me than a character…Can you tell at first guess who is her current charge ? lol
