My latest drawing, decided to do one I would get to keep myself
Anyway, the drawing was done with a derwent H, mechanical 0.2mm H and a mechanical 0.5mm 2b. I should have gone a lot darker but I'm quite pleased with it anyway.

well done. and i like the soft values. fits the mood of the piece. i supose one could say that the value would create it.. but i feel personally that the pose value and angle should all work toward a common mood. a darker value would change the mood... but in my oppinion it would be unbalanced. so kudos on knowing when to stop. ::smiles::

do you only draw from life/photo.. or can you draw from your head?

I have only drawn from photos so far, although I have a lot of ideas in my head that I should try to put down on paper.

i would love to see what you are capable of.. many people who have skill like yours cannot release themselves from photos... i think you mayt be an exception tho
