This one's for ~emeryaxiom ! ^w^ (for the sketch journal thing) He wanted a picture of a giant with his friend sitting on his knee. I think they look like great friends

O.O *is surprised, but soon a big grin spreads across his face, and he gets up to come after you* Hey! I'm gonna get you for that! X3 *gives you a moments head start*

You have to catch me first! *sprints through the waist-high grass until I reach a tree and run around it*

*sneaks toward the tree and slowly moves around it, ready to pounce*

*hears him approaching and hides under a pile of leaves set over the tree roots*

haHA!- huh? *jumps out from behind his side of the tree, and stops, confused as to where you went* Hmm so it's a game of hide and seek now, is it? Well don't worry, I'm an expert seeker >:3 *gets down on his hands and knees and starts searching* Now where did you go....

*hears him extremely close by and tries to stay still. But with his hands moving along the ground so close to me, I decide scoot backwards, moving some of the leaves covering me* Oops o.o *scoots further back and tries to cover myself, before falling into a hole in the ground* GAH! D8

*sees the leaves move and rustle, and is about to uncover you, but soon he hears a yelp and a hole appears in the leaves* Woah! *sticks his hand under the clump of falling leaves, and pulls it out of the hole.* Kindii?

Oomf! Owwww @_@ *sits up stiffly from a thick pile of leaves and looks up at the small, bright opening, about 10 feet above my head* I'm all right! Some plants broke my fall. *looks around for a way out* But I don't think I can get out on my own! >.<

Well thank god for plants! *reaches his arm down into the hole, and rests his hand palm up next to you, then beckons with his index finger for you to climb on* Here, can you get on ok? (:>

Seriously! *giggles at the beckoning motion and moves forward, only to stop when I see a flash of movement* Huh-hey...I don't think I'm the only one down here! o.o;;

*hears a pitter patter of quick steps moving around the dark walls* I d-don't know, but I don't want to find out! *clammers onto his hand*

*pulls his hand out just as a possum-sized black rat pops out and jumps toward you, causing him to fall backwards from his kneeling position. Before the rat can reach you, he holds you close to his chest protectively and kicks the creature away.* W-what in the world??

With a loud, grunting shout, the rat flies back from his kick and hits the ground with an audible 'thump'. Wait, a shout? My heart pounds as I try to find where the rat landed from my position in his hands. I finally spot it shakily pulling itself to it's hind legs and stumbling it's way towards the hole. The skin of the rat is oddly loose and it's eyes are eerily lifeless. And the way it moves just isn't well, rodent-like. "I...I don't think that's a rat..."
