Someone commented on my SPN stuff and then I found this song Monster by Imagine Dragons and I just HAD to draw a SPN sketch to go with it! Sometimes my Supernatural persona will be unable to control turning (remember I was born a giant-SPN- version and have tried like hell to suppress my monster side) but sometimes instincts take over and I can't stop myself, or can just barely stop from going after the nearest human. (In the lore I created giants are an ancient subspecies of Wendigo and yea, are born to eat people. >.< I of course got out of that at a young age). And Dean's surprised here trying to decide whether or not to shoot me. (I would've been helping out on a hunt or something, I'm basically a monster for rent for hunters. Yea, I mean in this scenario Dean knows that I don't want to hurt anyone, but he's had to put down friends before for reasons similar to this and he wouldn't hesitate to do it again if it came down to that. >.>

I love the idea of the constant battle with yourself, fighting for self control. It looks like this hunt just isn't going fast enough for your unforgiving appetite.

I love that idea too! The thought of trying to be a 'good' monster when every part of your being tells you to eat and kill. That constant struggle between instinct and willpower/self control. That's why the song I put in the description is so important! It's perfect for that persona. It's perfect for any monster persona in fact! I mean I can turn into this form on command, but it's hard to control sometimes. Any taste of human blood or flesh, even if it's just a hand accidentally hitting my teeth and leaving a bit of that taste will trigger that overwhelming instinct.

I just realized Dean here is going through the exact opposite. His instincts say you're a friend, but he knows he might have to blow you away if you don't get your shit together fast. Now that I think about it, the dichotomy represented here is amazing!

Thank you so much! 8D I'm glad you recognized that. I feel like Dean has to go through that a lot. Being a hunter is tough I guess! In my SPN AU though, Dean or Sam have been able to just barely talk me down from it. I'd say this is near the beginning of the story arc with this persona where they know that I'm a monster and have seen it happen a few times, but not so up close.
That is a pretty badass song! 8D MAN I loved Pacific Rim. Giant monsters vs giant robots? COUNT ME IN!
