I'm not trying Β to downplay Shazam, but they put him in place of Aquaman in the movie when Aquaman was there during the incident in the comic.

That was my frustration, because I enjoyed how Aquaman introduced himself to the team in the comic this was based off of.

No... he's not Captain Marvel... Marvel Comics owns that character name copyright... you're not allowed to call him that anymore... he's Shazam now (which I also don't care for).
