So, if any of you have read my latest Journal entry, you will learn that I got bold and submitted 3 entries to the State Fair this year. One of the photos, I called it "I See You" was taken at the State Fair last year and it received a very good score from the judges. Well, the subject of that photo is none other than the subject of this photo....meet Jack, the red-tailed hawk! He is in the "Birds of Prey" show conducted by the DNR. He is one lovely boy and now very special to my heart! Jack was injured in the wild and can no longer live on his own; he is blind in one eye. He is 21 years old and a very good bird.
