I found this today while searching for something else.....Yes, for those of you who notice, I was ridiculously close.....one should never do this, but then again, that's me....I kept creeping closer and closer.....
This was taken at a series of lakes in Arkansas.....I've no idea of their name now.....

Yeah, that unusual pose is part of his keeping that eye on me...you noticed that, didn't ya? Eye on me the whole time....as if to say: "Take one more step, silly woman....just one more"

We have loads of them here,in fact they hybridise with the Canada Geese to roduce some oddly coloured birds.

Or "One more step and I'll beat the snot out of ya!" I could hear people up by my car some distance away saying: "She's taking pictures!" like "She's stupid"....I really was too close....
You'll get a laugh outta this. My friend, wrote to me this week, catch line "Well, It Happened"...they have two chihuahua's and they moved to an apartment complex last year with a lake, which of course has geese. The two little dogs went out the other morning and the owner didn't see the geese WITH BABIES down by the water and took the leashes off of the dogs and the one little dog took off down to the water and got her butt beat by a goose!!! It literally rolled the dog on the grass and then the second one too. The older dog was crying! The owner had to go rescue them and I'm surprised that they didn't attack him! But they didn't. No one was actually hurt...except for doggy pride!!!!

They will,however,really get the hump when they have Goslings...the dogs got away light me-thinks..

I agree. We have them on campus and when folks are so afraid of them, I laugh! I talk to 'em! If one of them ever came at me, I'd charge him right back!
I think the dogs could have really been hurt too! And Andy when he went to rescue the dogs. It was funny, but then again not....

Uh, they had their eyes on me the whole time!!!! I was being watched with every move I made and there was a lot of posturing going to let me know my place. But they were pretty cool about it. Yes, I could have easily been attacked but they didn't.
