To be honest, I haven't played the Genocide Route myself (still on the Undyne Fight in a no-kill-yet neutral route), but the route is a very popular subject with videos on, for example, YouTube getting much more views than any other route. I can see why. If you watch it, you don't need to do it yourself. While Flowey would frown upon this practice, it would save the watcher's own Undertale world from being corrupted. You know how amazing Sans the Skeleton is without killing 102 monsters just to get the chance to fight him yourself. While your Sans is chilling with his bro in an exotic location on the surface without worry of another reset, you get to feed your cruel curiosity by watching another Sans suffer... or watching him make the player suffer. That is why I watch. People getting crap kicked out of them by this little guy make my day.

still getting used to the idea that i have an audience more than just the anomaly, this audience can sway the anomaly... and i'm the main attraction.

Anyway, enough about the route and more on Sans.

When I first made him, he had his shoes and tank top from the Steam card, but when I started looking at other fan interpretations, the no shirt and slippers look stuck out to me. However, I went with white slippers instead of the ever popular pink or blue to go with the colors of the small sprite. He could be wearing socks for all we know since his feet are all the same color according to the sprites. In making the model, I showed it to KairaAethericBeast and he mentioned that he looks like he's wearing basketball shorts and something clicked. Papyrus wears an outfit with basketballs and Sans tells you to get dunked on, so the shorts made sense. I did keep the parts of the outfit that I didn't use for options and even have an option for the hood being up.

Because of Sans's tendency to face straight on, I was able to capture the correct shape of his skull. He's winking with the other eye from normal here to go with the quote above. His skeleton is a heavily modified version of Gord Goodwin's Manny Mannequin to fit the mix of cartoony and realistic I am going for. Sans was the first Undertale model I made and he's 4 ft tall according to this size chart , the same height to the human children.
