Ha! Yeah, that's a pretty normal sight in Helsinki. xDD
I miss living there. Good thing I'm moving back in the end of the summer ^^ Even if no one gives a damn about other people on the streets.
It's funny how the Asian guy looks so bewildered in the photo. ^_^

My mom actually complain about this very much before my trip. She says that Finns are just bums and I won't see anything more there. But I just don't care,Im used to it because here in Poland you will also see bums,so maybe not so many times but still. Also I've seen an interesting video on youtube what moves this problem, actually It was funny for me. [link] Even if Finns drink a little too much they are still very nice people and I won't stop thinking that Finland is a beautiful country.

Sometimes it is not normal. I think Helsinki has the world record in how long a dead body remained in an apartment before it was found, it took 7 years or so. Nobody missed him. Not even the government. Once I catched a 3 year old boy running on the street, crossing busy roads without shoes. I grabbed his hand and took him to nearest people I saw and asked if they had seen his parents or anything. They all mumbled me something that their bus is coming soon, no they have no phone to call to police, or just avoided my questions and attention. Finally I left the boy to a small shop where the saleswoman promised to take care of him and she called the police. If something unusual happens to you on the streets of Helsinki, don't expect people's help or maybe you better turn to immigrants, they usually help people in need.

The same thing happened to me last year! Though the guy was alot older and on a bench. I walked past an hour later and someone was going over to check on him - very weird nice shot though!

I'm going to move to Helsinki in a month and I will be turning my head for sure...
I've been lectured about some Finnish habits and I must confess I'm a little... scared.
Good shot.

He turned his head because he is nto Finnish, he is asian. That's why. We Finns don't really care about other than ourselves. We are so shut in ourselves...and man I hate it...
nice pic anyway. And it makes it even nicer that it is in b&w
