Ah, ok. I used to use Mental Ray, but newer versions of Max have removed it, so I was curious.

With all those cables snaking, apparently unsecured, across the floor, this area looks to be rather improvised to be any sort of planned control area, since people could easily trip over the cables, or possibly cause them to become unfastened when tripping over them.


They could still be readily visible if put into slightly recessed passages in the floor, that might have a different lighting color to them, possibly implying either high energy content, or that they're being shielded from being stepped on.


At the moment, I count 13 cables, all of which could be tripped over.
