Description
I should have thought of a better title... but I can think of none at present...Continue practising with my tablet... still cannot draw straight lines, so I am trying to go with sketchy lines... and then less sketchy and less sketchy... =_=... Canvas size 400x400 pixels. Time for this piece is around 30 mins... my hand is shaking @_@...

My arms are kinda wonkified so I actually use the tablet for the opposite reason to steady out my lines. Programs like SAI helps me with that a great deal! Maybe you can try it. o u o
Of course... Money is always an issue... = ^ =; SAI is pretty cheap for an artsy program but... Money doesn't fall from the sky! D:

No, actually! Zooming in usually contributes to wobblyness if it's a long line (like hair for example) and only helpful for me when it's detail work.
Sai has level adjusters that can smooth out the line for you, which is what I think is everything else is talking about that you never got to try... D: I don't have photoshop so I can't say what it's like there or if it's better or worse than SAI XD I don't think you need to buy anything you don't feel like you need to~ o u o
When I didn't have SAI, I've used low opacy pens to make series of thin lines on top of each other that compiles itself into what appears to be a single line when you zoom out. Not sure if that'd work for you at all, but just throwing it out there~!

Yeah me too ~ I sometimes do go out, but most holidays find me sitting at a computer working on my editing jobs or working on stuff.. and reply to emails...but when I'm not at the computer.. there's always a pile of manga and books to read!

tablets are so slippery when you first start >.<
I hated that part. But practice does make perfect (or atleast better XD) oh man now I feel like sketching on my tablet again...
Anyway, is this anyone in particular? I dont think I've seen his design before =3

I am not sure what you mean by "slippery", but for mine sometimes it is super sensitive and sometimes it is not sensitive at all... and that drives me mad XD Don't you sketh on your tablet? O_O I thought you did all your work on tablet... For this guy it is just someone random. I don't know who he is XD

oh I guess what I meant was that its really hard to keep steady
(and yea it kinda peeved me too. lol I actually tried putting a peice of paper
on top of the tablet to make it feel more like I was drawing on paper buuut....it didnt work XD)~
And I just mainly to color instead of drawing stuff. *unless I have insomnia*

Yes!! It is difficult to steady my hand... and the lines turn out crooked... I tried sketching on paper, and then drawing on top of it following the lines... but it failed =_=... because my tablet size ratio is not the same as my monitor size ratio... and everything got fatter XD
Random characters are supposed to be random... so they don't really have a pose =_=...

Oh yeah... my hand gets really sore from drawing on a tablet. I apply too much pressure and tense up my muscles x.x
But this is really good tablet practice! I love how you colored it 8D <3

Thank you! My hands also get sored from using a tablet, but not as much as when I colour with a mouse... so now I prefer to colour with a tablet XD

YOu did this in 30mins? Take me like an hour >_>lol but its good! I can't draw a flower to save me life! unless i had 24hrs.
I need to practive more with my tablet.

30 mins is a long time for simething this simple. If it is pencil and colour pencil I guess it will take me 10 to 15 mins ^_^ You can start drawing by copying something, but don't trace if you want to learn

It takes me an hour to draw all my stuff cause i want it to be perfect, if possible. I used to trace in the 4thgrade for pokemon, but i don't anymore since then. Yes imma try to coppy stuff and learn

1 hour is still good ^_^ For my actual coloured works... it takes me 5-8 hours for one image on average

Even if I can undo... it is still difficult to get lines smooth... I tend to draw a line by bits... and then you can see the places where the bits connect with each other =_=...

I cannot draw a line continuously LOL I remembered my teacher back in elementary said "When you draw, draw the whole line in one go and not bit by bit", but then I end up doing the wrong thing XD

For a practice I think it's really good! As long you keep using it you should be use to it!
