"Thank you for coming on such short notice, everyone," Allie greeted her family and close friends as they met together for lunch at the restaurant she chose. "I have an important announcement I wanted to share with all of you."

"I'll bet I know what it is," Leslea grinned, "Especially since Cole went with Mercedes to another lunch gathering elsewhere ."

"Are you going to tell us now or wait until we're inside, Allie-chan?" Angie asked with her voice full of its usual boundless energy.

"Honestly, I don't think I can wait any longer," an enormous smile adorned Allie's face as she held out her left hand to reveal her engagement ring. "I'm getting re-married !"

"Eeeeeeee~~~~!" Angie practically glomped the purple-haired woman as the excitement level between the two of them became palpable. "Congratulations, Allie-chan~!"

"It's definitely a suitable ring," Leslea observed as she took a closer look. "Though did he ask just you or all four of you?"

"All four of us together," Allie admitted, "But that didn't diminish how romantic and special it felt."

"Is that even allowed?" Elly chimed in. "I mean, I know you and the others are all friends, but doesn't the country forbid a man from marrying more than one woman?"

"Anyone who tries to intrude on that will have to answer to the Enma who made Dyne immortal," Allie explained. "The marriage will be done under their law instead of here, so it technically falls under a higher jurisdiction. Oh, but we'll still have small ceremonies that our families and friends can attend. We haven't decided if they'll be separate or all happen at once."

"So long as you're happy and that's what matters," Tim spoke up for the first time since the group all greeted each other. "Ever since the gathering the other night, you look like you've removed an enormous burden that was on your shoulders."

Allie looked over at the man whose counterpart in her original world had been her first husband and returned a platonic smile, "Thanks, Tim. But I couldn't have done it alone. All of you, Dyne, and our children helped in ways you can't imagine. Dyne thanked me for being there for especially Sephira and MOMO when they needed me the most but, in reality, I was the one who needed them as they taught me so much."

"Then we have no reason than to give you nothing less than our best wishes," Tim folded his arms and nodded before the three other girls all joined together to give Allie one more big group hug.

With the full congratulations in order and those early questions answered, Elly suddenly turned around and poked Tim in the chest several times as she asked, "And just how much longer are you going to keep me waiting, bucko? Allie's going to be married twice over before you even ask at this rate."

"Ah, well," Tim suddenly turned very quiet and nervous as he looked away and scratched the back of his head. Either he knew that nothing he said would work or there was no point in trying to get a word in edgewise as Elly immediately spoke up again.

"Leslea, do you still have your camera and that outfit you had Mercedes model for you in your own scheme ? Even if you can somehow resist me in something like that, Tim, I doubt Parasyte would be able to and I just might not try to escape if he tries to kidnap me for a forced wedding because he'll actually do something!"

"El, that's not fair!" Tim gulped, but couldn't help but got a bit red in the face as he imagined not only her in said outfit, but swooping in to rescue her from such a situation. "Besides, isn't he more focused on Angie's girlfriend Miki's friend these days?"

"Don't try to change the subject. We need to have a long talk about this later tonight, if you know what I mean."

The familiar sight before Allie and knowing exactly how her "sister"/counterpart felt in getting him to take that next step for them would be the hardest push Elly would ever have to make only caused her to break out into happy laughter that Angie and Leslea joined in on and didn't fully subside until well after they had gone inside to begin their meal. After all, she had far more reasons to laugh than cry these days.
