um that's from a poster..and it doesn't look like you watercolored it >.> It's pixilated and looks as though the colors where just tweaked with in PS......sorry I've been a Mucha fan for a long time and that just looks copied with bad color change..

Well done on that, I'm trying to do some Alphonse Mucha style stuff myself. How did you go about starting it? I havent worked with watercoulours much before so i doubt this its gonna turn out too well...

well, on this one I started with inking it and then went over it with a very thin wash of color. I then went back and re inked the thick black strokes. Let me know how it turns out

thanks sya. it doesn't really "feel" like watercolor because I painted very thick. I like the effect it gives, but to be honest I like my painting style now a little better (and it's a whole lot faster).

yep, he's one of my favorite artists too... i love how he paints cloth and hair, so pretty.... if i ever get another tattoo, it;s going to be a mucha inspired one. awesome job.
