this is an airbrush job, and it depicts the former "playboy" star Dorothy Stratton( who got shot to death by her old man in 1980or 81 can,t remember) ( so please guys at the dev dont be daft and ask for a models consent form..ok)It,s done completely with airbrush and I used Windsor and Newton inks, because they are fantastic to use with the airbrush and give great effect and results.
the foto is not really up to standard.
I did this about 5-6yrs ago, it was the way she was laying and what she had on that caught my eye.

it,s great to hear that some folks still remember things way back in the eighties, yeah the film was called Star 80, and Dorothy was play by oh christ forgot but it was one of the hemmingway girls( the younger one ) damned good film.
I collected all the Playboy issues with fotos of Dorothy Stratton , man was she a woman, but what a tradigy when she died.
yeah ,it,s funny but a lot of people comment on the sofa, and I,m real pleased how it turned out , BUT I dont think I would have got the same effects outta paints as I did with inks, thier so great to work with and I,m thinking of going back to using them more often, they layer good , thier brilliance and resiliance ist way above paints, and the end effect is really amazing because these ink all contain schallack,which means that the end painting looks just like a high gloss foto. They come in minut bottles( more like thimbles) and are really expensive ,but well worth the money, I,ve brush painted with them, use them for coloured pen and ink drawings and shoved them thro., the airbrush,and each and every time I,ve been totally amazed at the end result.Thier also great to mix, due to them being sort of seethro, mixing them is just like making a kaledascope( some time ya think you been on the "magic mushrooms" hahahaha sort of far out 60,s stuff, ) no I dont paint and at the same time " snort my c0ke thro a century note" ( good ole Hoyt Axton....Della and the Dealer) remember that too?? yeah course ya do, bet you was a flower child..did ya make it to Woodstock??
