The game is made by WAYFORWARD, who brought you the DUCKTALES remake, DOuble Dragon NEO, Mighty Switch Force, and a few Adventure Time games!

Yeah, one of the artists on Might No. 9 actually works with Wayforward on Shantae.

Those are pretty close to the original designs, yet show a certain playfulness with the character. That's very well done.
