Description Well here is yet another Locomotive design that I've done. Its for yet another one of my westerns. The story is a Fantasy story but it like combining the Spaghetti Western with "The Chronicles of Narnia". And because of the "Spaghetti Western" portion of it I wanted to get the Feel of a locomotive that you would see in those old Films. Many of them were shot in Spain so movie comanies would often use locos from that contry and "dress" them up to look like American locos of the period. Theres alot of legal stuff I need to work on before I devulge any of the story. But ya gotta' admit, a Fantasy Western is gonna' be intersting. Any way, please tell me what ya' think of this loco. The stylingis a bit different from what I'm used to. I did this one amlost entierly free hand!

Well, Much Obliged!

It was actually inspired by a Model Euro Loco from a book I saw at my old school library back up in Maryland.

I liked the way she looked, but I added the "Western" style stack, box headlight, and pilot. I'm considering on doing a few more "Spagetti Western" locos for concepts for a story called "WasteLand".

Yeah, it does, put that was half the intent. Though I don't think that, protypically, there were any stacks quite like this.

I like it, the only thing in my opinion that might need a little work is the exaust and the boiler is a little small in what I am used to seeing.
Other than that it's very very good.

Wonderful design! I've always been a fan of European steam, and seeing one dressed up "American" is a real treat. With its compact size and nice proportions, I can see this machine easily fitting into an alternate west... perhaps even in great numbers.

Oh Dear God...

Who designed this Engine?

It looks like The Designer wasn't sure if He wanted a European or an American Loco built, so he just mashed it together...

Poor Engine...

Na', you didn't insult me. I drew the loco for a comic. I'm fond of Euro style locos but my favorite trains will always be American. To each his own I suppose.
