So I decided to finish rendering that drawing of K today before class. I am very happy with it despite my negative comments on the mass thinger I uploaded just last night. xDTo the left (lol) you get to see him all shaded up and such. Then as a bonus I decided it would be cool to put the flat color on the right since I put an awful lot of deatil into that, actually. I'll let you decide which you enjoy more. I like both just fine with maybe a bit more of a preferecial leaning for the flat one just because I love coloring things and tend to put a lot of work into the coloring of shit (because inside I'm just a big 5 yr-old). xD Shading is more of an after-thought that more often than not gets LAZED.
I just want to kiss his nose ridge for some reason. >->
LATER I SHALL PRACTICE MOAR WOOO!

Loving those lines! They're so... textured? Especially the lines of the plates on the face.

I prefer the shaded one :] It looks so good! The one without the shadings looks lifeless. Maybe its because of the lack of luster in his eyes? Well, anyway, your realistic non-humans are looking swell :]

Prawns have so much detail; I tried drawing one and it came out like someone had badly broken and disfigured the bottom half of it's face -_-
