It's all for you...every last bit of it.It seems like quite a few of my last drawings have seemed sort of suicidal...not sure why that is, seeing as how I'm feeling pretty happy as of late. I don't feel committing suicide whatsoever. Moreso, they seem to me to be one brief, but final, act of defiance on the part of the individual...one last act of selfishness because they're forced to live in a world where they feel controlled. Maybe it's a way of resolving the bitterness I feel about the current administration in my country, maybe not, maybe something deeper.
So, if you happen to look at my artwork and think that I must be one seriously messed up dude to put this stuff down on paper, well, you're partly right, but I'm also a happy-go-lucky sort of fella with a great sense of humor too. I'm not some lonely drifter riding freight trains and strangling hobos to get an erection. I'm a productive member of society, I swear.

Wow man. The piece is so amazingly loud and screaming. I love everything about it. GOtta say your hatching strokes are very well done too. Awesome shading, very realistic anatomy (the thick thighs from kneeling, the tongue), the texture on the pants and detail on the shirt...
Not only that but the concept is awesome to look at and think about. I mean I absolutely love this piece. The marker rendering (or is it watercolour?) is so explosive.

The inking is so freaking gorgeous. o.o *basks in its texture* And the way the neck seamlessly blends into the grenade head and the mouth is just - it's so well-done. ;o;

I find that i tend to create a lot of dark pictures when i'm in a peaceful mood as opposed to creating insanely bright colourful pieces when i'm feeling down.

You never cease to make my jaw drop. ;; Your art is so expressive and so unique and creative and wonderfully put together.
It's a really interesting idea, and well executed too. I like that you drew in the neck, the strain that would be there if he had a human head that was doing the same thing. It's much more interesting, and better looking, than if you'd just lumped a grenade on top of some guy's shoulders. It shows a great deal of artistic talent.
I really like his pants, the deep, dark shading/colouring/whatever you'd call it. And, also, the colouring the whole way through.
The tongue was a brilliant idea-it makes the piece even more powerful, and it gives it so much personality. It even looks angry, so thick and violent, it's really in your face, which seems to suit the mood.

Wow! Doesn't look messed up to me. Looks great. One of the few times I have actually seen someone draw a realistic looking tongue.
