If you go to the east coast, Nova Scotia in particular you can't help but see whales all over. There's boats that will take you to them (as seen in this pic) or even just sitting on the shore you can see them. I was sitting on a rock cliff about 50' above the water facing England and the water was pretty calm and suddenly not far out from where I was something black the size of a school bus surface out of nowhere and then went back under just like that. The oceans a crazy place.
