After about 3 weeks of working on this and having my Mac die while working on it and having my older gaming computer take up the challenge to finish the job. I finally have it done. The beginning page of Residuum is just hours after Shepard has destroyed the reapers during the battle for Earth. With nearly all technology taken out via a massive EMP from the Shockwave that shot out of the Citadel the only thing that the remaining forces of the galaxy can do is search for the living and sometimes the dead in the rubble of what was once London.

In this story which is my personal headcanon, With the entire Geth consensus in the Sol System during the battle and along with their new found true intelligence they analyzed the explosion from the Catalyst and saw the EMP effect coming. Within milliseconds of realizing this the Geth all shut themselves down entirely. Hours later after the Catalyst did what it needed to do and the Reapers destroyed most of the Geth population woke themselves up.
In this search and rescue group they have the individual known as Myriad who helps detect the living who are being crushed under the corpse of the city.

But with the Normandy and the major part of the Galaxy's fleet escaping the main part of the explosion by jumping through the Pluto Relay at the very last second. How will Earth survive the coming dark times ahead until the fleet can some how return to the Sol System?
