This isn't exactly a tutorial. This is more of a walk through...a strategy guide, of sorts.

I had originally intended to make a tutorial for the trident, but there are several floating around out there, and while I ended up using a combo of those and my own 'holy-crap-I-guess-I'll-wing-it-and-do-it-that-way....OW-MY-HAND!', I decided that because I am so happy with how it turned out that I would do a minimalist tutorial type thing....because artisan secrets and all that.

BUT, I say why not offer a little guidance to those who want to create this most excellent prop. So, here it is, in parts. I have pictures from when I was making the trident, completion shots, and also included a few reference pictures in this part.

Part 2 should be up later tonight or tomorrow.

Hope this is sort of helpful...sorry for not walking through exactly how I did it, but the trident I made turned out to be one of the best I'd seen and I put a shit ton of trial and error into it....and I actually think that that makes you a better prop builder. I'll offer any additional advice to anyone who asks.
