okay, so one of my favorite goddess is Persephone. and no, not cuz she got abducted by Hades , who is definitely 'not' one of my favorite gods, nope..

anyway, Persephone was picking roses for Demeter when Hades came with a thorn rope and pined Persephone to the maple tree and tried to get her to marry him willing. Persephone did not submit willingly and so she ran to the forest through brambles, thorns and swamps.
Hades ran after her. Persephone ran and ran till she hit a dead end with blood red cliffs in her way.
she started climbing it.
Hades caught up with her and knocked her out and tied her.
she tried to escape again but failed.
hades loved her dearly but she always detested him.
