Messier 88.The traditional version - the colours are a little off because I'm limited on Copics. First time doing a piece with Copics, I'll have to do some more practice with them.
Tools used: black fine liners, brush pen, archival ink and brush, Copic markers, acrylic paint, and chalk pastels.
Size: 8.5 in by 10.5 in

This is just gorgeous. I loved seeing the WIPs come up in my feed, and the final product is stunning~ Simple, tasteful, but detailed in the right ways. Plus that coloring and the ink splatter across the bottom? Fantastical!

So cool, i love how clean you can ink and colour!!! *^* And I love the colours here, maybe a biiiiit off from her design, but still so great. *-* I also love the boots and hair! Could you scan the drawing or did you take a photo or did you have to edit the colours? : O

Thank you! It helps that it's on a larger piece of paper too. Yeah, I work under very yellow light (coupled with the yellow walls, doesn't help) so when I scanned it, it looked so off to me! But now I have a "full spectrum" lamp and I put this piece under it and it matched the scanned version *shrug* I didn't have to tinker with it after it scanned though, I kind of liked the brightness it achieved. Though I did scan it on the photo setting and not document, if that helps. Though I still prefer the photo version of the piece, sooo... lol
