Another instalment for my fanart month. The magic Knights of Cephiro. Land of the flying rocks.
There was a surprising amount of people asking for this. Maybe because Magic Knight RayEarth are currently being published for the first time in Denmark.
They are nostalgia for me. This was probably the first shoujo manga I ever read back in 2000. The albums had been mirrored and the price was 3 times as high as the normal price for mangas in English are now. XD And I thought the story ended after the third album. Back then nobody seemed to care about translating the second cyclus. :/ Imagine being convinced that the story ends after album three, and having that as the first manga series you've ever read the ending of... That should probably explain a lot about me being even more interested in manga than I was already. To this date I consider that ending to be one of the most surprising plot twists I've ever experienced.
Anyway, I spend a looot of hours on this one.

I honestly can't remember... It usually takes me at the least 10 hours to colour a marker picture this large, so... Yeah.

This is a really lovely peice of the girls. Fuu is my favorite followed by Hikaru and Last is Umi.

Yeah, I remember the ending of the three first as well... I read them, thinking that the whole story was a bit too predictable. Until the the final battle O_O I was really surprised by that...

That's pretty much it. The entire genre seemed to be set. Until that final battle which in itself was a major plottwist. But combined with the "set genre" it was so surpricing I hardly even knew what to do with myself afterwards.

A nice point about Tria markers is that they are pretty damn durable.

Interestingly, I find it rather a shock to actually see them in colour, since I am only familiar with the black and white manga.
