Gold-lovers’ prayers have been answered in this bronze version of Elena’s vervain locket. It has the same delicate details as my shiny silver ones, only with a rougher, more antique finish.

This pendant measures a total of 1 inch wide by 1.5 inches long (25x38mm) and features a red Cubic Zirconia stone. The dome is hollow with an access hole on the back, allowing you to store your favorite herbs, oils, solid perfumes, love notes, or locks of hair. A stylized star twinkles just under the opening. The long bail is bronze over copper for additional strength.

Elena’s Pendant comes on a 19 inch chain. All metal in the chain is matte gold over brass. I would be happy to cut this chain down if you desire a shorter length.

I carved this pendant by hand out of BRONZclay, which is real metal particles in a pulp binder. I then baked the clay in a 1540 degree kiln for a few hours to burn out the binder and fuse the metal together. What emerged from the kiln was a 100% solid piece of metal, in this case bronze.

This pendant was very difficult to photograph due to the combination of texture and high polish. I'm afraid it's another "much prettier in person" piece.
