Description
After 3 days of work and more days to create the idea I finally finished my Fanart-piece of
Moonstone-Cass in Tangled-The Series!
I chose different motives of her to capture her pain, fear, anger and strength while her song
"Crossing the line".
I do still like her so, so much and I'm fascinated of her power and courage over all episodes,
so I can truly understand her choice to cross the line, to get appreciation as the strong person
she is, to be the fighter she wants to be. Cass used to stay in Rapunzel's shadow, she was a
completely misunderstood person which everyone saw as cold and unapproachable and was
never accepted as a guard. Though she is much more than a lady-in-waiting.
I'm sure that the friendship of her and Rapunzel has still a chance but a confrontation is
waiting for us and I'm excited how it ends!
Cass isn't an evil person and I hope that Rapunzel won't stop seeing this.
She'll always be Cass, no matter which way she chose. She has feelings and she acted after them.

I sketched everything with a pencil.
Then I lined Cass with drawing ink.
All the black parts are also colored with ink.
The rest got colored with fineliners.
The white light effects are created with white ink.
I created a shadowy frame with a thick pencil.

To be honest, I love this piece very much and I'm glad I didn't plan
to give it to someone.
