Description For a challenge, I was supposed to create an image inspired by the Zodiac signs theme.

So I went for this Aquarius giant, made of stone. For it to be consistent, I textured it using various photos of the cliffs around the scene. I simply tried to bend the stone to kind of follow the body curves. Then I added some grass and trees on it, to give the impression he's been there for a long time, filling the sea with his amphora. The background is mostly untouched: in particular, the sunset, colors and clouds are those that were there that day. The stars and the nebula were of course added in post-production.

As usual, all the photos and effects are mine, no stock at all.

i really liked this. mainly cause i'm a aquarius as well. but only problem i have is with the actual statue. the elbow and the inner right thigh seem a little off with the rock texture. seems good at a quick glance but when i actually look just seems slighty off. to me it seems that the rock doesn't curve with the way the elbow or the thigh looks. but overall this is really great. keep up the good work.

Thank you for your comment! I know about the texture, I had to make choices (well, maybe wrong ones haha ). In fact I tried to keep the stone "relatively" realistic, and little curves are quite unusual so I avoided them.
