Description
The three games take place in AYLATH, a big region divided into three medium sub-areas: NORTH, CENTRE and SOUTH.

Each game is set in a different area: POKEMON SUNSET starts in NORTH, POKEMON NOON starts in CENTRE and POKEMON DAWN starts in SOUTH, with the possibility to further travel across the entire region.

Consequently, each area has its own male and female protagonists, but just one PkMn Professor. Also, each area and each game has its own starters:

DAWN STARTERS {south}: Rock, Fighting, Flying
NOON STARTERS {centre}: Grass, Fire, Water
SUNSET STARTERS {north}: Dark, Psychic, Fighting (with few measures to make it a perfect triangle)

Notrh and South share a common starter line: Fight, so all together that comes to 8 evolutionary lines.

Prof. DURMAST, a traveler professor who specializes in element types and legendary Pokémon.
