Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill. She was the favorite child of Zeus. Her mother was Metis, goddess of wisdom and Zeus' first wife.Athena and her uncle Poseidon were both very fond of a certain city in Greece. Both of them claimed the city and it was decided that the one that could give the finest gift should have it. Leading a procession of citizens, the two gods mounted the Acropolis.
Poseidon struck the side of the cliff with his trident and a spring welled up. The people marveled, but the water was as salty as Poseidon's sea and it was not very useful. Athena's gift was an olive tree, which was better because it gave the people food, oil and wood. Athena named her city Athens.
Her favorite city is Athens. Her tree is the olive. The owl is her bird. She is a virgin goddess.

thanks, i read in different places at her eyes were blue in others green or grey. So it was a bit difficult to decide what colour to do. If i were a god i definately would try many different colours

Yeah I can imagine gods do too!After all simply being human and having the chanse to play along with coloured lenses is mighty fun! Then just imagine to simply be able to change eye colour using will power, that must be amazing!!

there are many different versions of greek mythology but only slightly varying some read she is known for her owl grey eyes others for her blue, i wanted to do something different as stated before but thanks anyway

ok well as interesting as that page was i'm not a fan of taking anything from wikipeedia seriously especially ones that have "this article needs citations for verification and that the article needs a clean up to meet wikipedia standards" also there is very little mention of athena at all so i don't se the relevance

i know but i not refer "only" from Homer Iliad , i have read Iliad and study this matter. I only think this from homer's testimony but in other context the colour of the Athena's eye is different. I suggest maybe the Homerìs testimony is better than other...
