I really like the free form design with the pastels Gypsy, it has the look of a traditional painting. Very nice work hon.

Thank you Lauren - You will be seeing more of this style from me. I like to try and learn new things. I sometimes feel stuck in a rut with fractals and want to make them different. We all see different shapes etc in fractals and that is what makes each artist so unique and different. I am so glad you like this. ((((Huggaloos)))

I have tried doing similar effect to this. It is quite good to use the freehand magic want in PSP and draw round a part of the fractal, then add a special effect to that part or parts only:[link] This was one such experiment. Have done quite a few.

This looks very nice in the pastel colours you are currently into.

I used the top layer as a transparent and then did a layer of EMBOSS on that one and then layered all 4 layers of flames. On one layer I used the warp tool to get the bends. Your experimental art is very eye catching. I love doing pastels and used to paint pastels, which I would like to get back into canvas. Haven't done anything in years (since Michael was a baby).

I just added contrast to it and saved the file and it does look interesting.... I was actually going for the soft pastel effect on this one, but did take your hunch into consideration and it looks great! Thanks for the suggestion.
