World of Warcraft continues to suck much of my time, and here is another excerpt from Azeroth... recently my priestess, Prityana, and her paladin friend, Mola, went on a quest to get one of these cute little critters as a pet. They are called Sprite Darters, a type of fairy dragon. They have aquamarine bodies, and violet and pink wings patterned with white, and shiny black eyes. I decided to name them Pip and Flik, but lord only knows which is which...
Creature design is Blizzard's, but the rest is all my work. This one is for you, Mola.

I really like the wings on them and there is something about their smiles (or maybe it's the expression in their eyes) that I always find amusing. The only wierd thing about them is their tails... but they're probably supposed to be that way.
I think Flik is the top one.

I play on Silver Hand Alliance. My main is Prityana (60 Priest), but these days I'm usually on my alts Nireta (50 Druid) or Rayine (30 Mage).

Ok, first off, those are some of the best wings I've ever seen in my life. I can't put the words together to make perfect sense so I hope my methods of imagery will show you my heart:
The creature's wings blend into their structure so beautifully that I'm reminded of the amazon basin where riverfalls mend and flow through the crevices of every rock, much to the same as these to the creature's skeletal structure. I can see this pair living much like the flowing waters in that they roam the wild jungles in small packs, diving into the depths and savoring the fresh fish. I can almost see them move like a national geographic cinema.

Ah... 'tis a pity you have a Tauren... unfortunately a tribe of Tauren is (rather inexplicably to my mind) torturing the poor creatures. The quest to free the little dragons is what ultimately allows you to get one as a pet... and it is Alliance only.

Hehe... they don't eat anything... I don't think you can tame them (if you are a hunter). These pets are the cosmetic kind, like cats or rabbits or parrots. There is a quest that starts in Feralas (so you need to be level 40+ to get it) that sends you all about, and the end reward is an egg that calls a Sprit Darter Hatchling to you. Do a search on Thottbot for "Sprite Darter Egg." That should get you the info on how to do the quest series.
