Can you recommend workouts to help with moves like this? I can invert and do what you call the scorpio (my studio calls it descending angel, I think?), but I can't do the split hold, and I'm FAR from this! Lol.

Have you learnt the butterfly move yet? This move is harder than it looks as your body weight is pretty much all on your hands; the feet are just there for a little bit of balance but just decoration really

this move requires abdominal strength as you have to control how far you lean backwards with your abs. It also requires arm strength because your main grip is with your arms so doing pole pull ups (where you literally hold onto the pole and pull your body upwards then lower back down) will help. There is a great site called Studio Veena where you can ask questions about all thing pole www.studioveena.com

All the girls are really friendly and everyone is at different levels so we can all help each other

I can do the butterfly! I can even extend it a little.

So basically this Inverted D is a butterfly with your legs straight? Looks tougher, lol. Way tougher ><

I'm pretty lacking in my abs muscles. It took me like a month and a half to learn the cradle

Nice one for getting the butterfly

The inverted D is much like the extended butterfly [link] which is the advanced version of the butterfly. Although I actually found the inverted D a little harder than the extended butterfly as you need to use your torso a lot more for balance, where as the extended leg helps you balance with the ext butterfly.

Don't worry about taking time to get the cradle, i found that one took me a while to get as well. In fact I think I could invert before I got the cradle properly because it took me some time to develop the courage to fling myself round sideways! And anyways, the more pole... the more abs
