Description I was very eager to finish this before I leave on holiday tomorrow morning.
So, fanart. I looked back in my gallery and realised the last time I published fanart was in 2008. I have done some illustrations since, but nothing what really constituted to a big fandom. This was because I felt a bit overwhelmed by the popularity some fanart pieces had, whilst all my other work was overlooked. I no longer really feel that way, but only recently had the urge again to draw something from the Harry Potter series. This series I still have a huge weakness for.

Ron Harry and Hermione are supposed to be in their first year in this picture. I tried to keep as true to my own imagination of them as possible and based it a lot on my previous depiction of them. img.photobucket.com/albums/v47... oh and scabbers, from when we still thought he was a cute rat.

I love to see fanart for HP and especially when the fanart is based more on the books and less on how the characters are depicted by the actors (as awesome as they are).Β

Thanks, I acttualy am rereading the first book again now, and can already see things I'd do slightly different again. For example Harry is so cheeky the whole book, he's too sweet in this picture.

I really love this.Β  So many people draw the characters as their movie counterparts, but these three really feel like their book characters, down to Hermione's big front teeth! This is really beautifully done, so props to you.
