That is so cool. On the curise at the Bahamas my mom and my saw lightening like the full one striking down and we stood there trying to wait for another one and tried to get a picture of it. Too bad it never happened again and I dont think I would have been able to get it, but it was cool my second time seeing a full lightening. SO FUN xD

yeah! you gotta be crazy lucky to just be able and get the picture as soon as the lightning strikes. i dont think you even can! i had the shutter open for a while for this photo.

I think I actually like that there aren't any bolts. I love lightning, but the effect you get within the cloud, without seeing the source (the bolt) lighting it up is really amazing. The colors are beautiful

i agree. its almost as if there were people walking around with flashlights.
it gives it a nice affect.

i was thinking the exact same thing.
but, the lighting was coming from inside the cloud,
so i would have been able to get that kind of a shot anyways.
