Not really, you just need to make sure that the different shots do not overlap so that when you combine it that it looks ok

not very difficult. You just use the layers function in photoshop and a different photo of each pose

And you just keep the camera in the same place and cut things up where they belong?

Yes you put the camera on a tripod, take the different shots and blend them all together in photoshop.
